Good group, good Convo. I know Steve from the Denver Heli Showdowns. I got my AMA in 1980, flew pattern for a few years, then in 1989 got my first heli a Concept 30. I was able to take advantage of the first heli simulator the Dave Brown with wire frame graphics. The AMA museum when it was located in Reston Virginia, had one for members to use and I was working in the area for a week and spent all my extra time learning to hover on it. At the time it required a nearly $2,000 PC.
